Sounds interesting, tell me more
ValueBlue is the innovative company behind the BlueDolphin platform. Our mission is to enable organizations to achieve goals faster, together and based on insights. We achieve this by providing a SaaS platform that companies use to achieve strategic goals in areas of business, IT, and data. Companies such as Wakefern corp., Boskalis, the ANWB, Erasmus University, VolkerWessels and Disney. But, in order for us to keep delivering the best possible product to our customers, a slick Front-end is crucial.

What about the tech team?
You’ll work with a nice mix of testers, back-end and front-end developers spread between the Netherlands and Romania in an agile environment. We plan to scale-up our in-house engineering department and for that we could use an experienced UX designer to create beautiful features and improve our platform.

It is important to us that every colleague does most of what they love to do. We believe this is the best way for everyone to have a great and positive contribution to our solution, the team and the company. We strive for a combination of constant learning and fun and offer an environment where people can work independently and communicate openly.

We are looking for a seasoned User Experience Designer who wants to strengthen the design team and has a flexible attitude. In this role you will work for the product development department. The multidisciplinary development team consists of 15 people (of which 7 are currently working in Romania).

About you

In this role you will work closely with the other UX specialist, the product owner and our front-end developers. Because this is a role in which you develop several assignments at the same time, it is important that you can keep a good overview and work independently. Furthermore, we are looking for someone who has experience with managing our design system. And finally, you will succeed in this role if you have experience with designing complex features for B2B software.

We mainly work with the Agile/Kanban methodology. You have to deal with a variety of tools such as Sketch, the Adobe package and InVision. You always consider the needs of our users, but do not lose sight of the business goals. Your focus is on ease of use. You will conduct thorough research, and create your solutions for complex customer problems. In addition to making wireframes and prototypes, you also create the visuals. You always test the developed features on their usability and the design principles. In addition, you validate your designs with colleagues and clients. Finally, we find it important that you are willing to set and validate requirements during the process.

Together with the team you make the translation from strategy to a creative concept and then translate the creative concept into an attractive and user-friendly feature. During the realization you will monitor and where necessary revise the choices made.
