About the job
Skytree is cleaning the air in your car and making you safer. Our cutting-edge product, filters CO2 and H2O from your car and takes the stress off your electric car battery. We build products for better air and a safer driving experience.
Our working culture is based on a dynamic and smart approach to business, an open and understanding attitude to others and the desire to expand the boundaries of what is possible. Based in Amsterdam's Science Park we are a team of 13 engineers, designers and business developers who are working on creating better air for a viable future. Our team is from all over the world and we are working on an even empowering an even more diverse and thought-inspiring team.
We are now building a brand and communications team to develop our identity and communications methodology. We want smart, forward thinkers looking to build their career to join our team. This role will evolve with you and working with our Brand and communications head will show the face of Skytree to the world.
The position
Design is the language of problem solving. We seek a new all-round designer for our Amsterdam team. You will be joining our team as we build out and align our new products, further develop our brand and grow our image. Our communications team covers social and content while producing videos and branding materials from scratch. We cultivate innovation and curiosity in our team and you will be no exception to this.
About you
You will be working and learning from our SMART Team members and be given projects to challenge your skill sets and mindset. You will directly work under our head of design and marketing and be involved in a wide variety of projects.
This is a part-time role for 4 days per week. We work with team members all over the world and are expanding fast but you will be based in our offices in Amsterdam.
On a day-to-day basis you will:
– Use your creativity to transfer the ideas of yourself and others onto multiple formats.
– Tackle design related problems from the larger team and the SMART department.
– Ensure the design of the Skytree website is kept to a high, pixel perfect, standard and executed well.

- Help further develop our visual identity / motion work for a comprehensive look and feel.
- Working with our social intern to develop resources for engagement and interactivity.

Desired skills and expertise?
– 2-5 year experience in a tech company or studio
– Conceptual design background with strong execution skills
– Motion Design experience
– Experience in managing a design project with multiple stakeholders
– Excellent time management and communication skills
– Strong problem-solving skills
– Adobe Creative Suite abilities (Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
– Willingness to learn new and improve your current skills
– Excellent time management and communication skills
