We train, develop and facilitate creative multidisciplinary teams and communities in Design Thinking to drive positive change. Additionally, we advise global clients, such as L'Oreal, Coca-Cola, Rainforest Alliance, ING, Randstad, Adidas, International Red Cross, etc., on integrating Design Thinking into their businesses. Design Thinking enables you to create and deliver innovative ideas, change, and solutions to complicated problems.
For our Global Headquarters in Amsterdam, we are looking for a tech-savvy Media & Technology Specialist.
What will you be doing?
As our Media & Technology specialist, you will be managing our digital landscape across our global network for the following DesignThinkers labels: DesignThinkers Academy, Design Thinking Conference, and DesignThinkers Agency.
You will take charge of the functionality and the look and feel of our websites. With your technology fluency and attention to the latest digital trends, you ensure that our website visitors get the smoothest experience. Additionally, you will be acting as the tech wizard to support the team in rolling out digital Design Thinking training and materials.
Core areas of responsibilities:
- Organizing and coordinating the development of our websites (communicating about progress, resolving issues, testing new ideas, etc.);
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to understand and translate our business needs to our digital platforms effectively;
- Analyze the performance of our websites and suggest possible improvements;
- Ensure a seamless experience, technology-wise, on our collaborating platforms (Miro, Zoom, etc.);
- Edit and publish customer-facing materials (promotional flyers, leaflets, presentations, etc.)
About you:
You are a digital native who knows your way around content management systems and the digital world's offerings. You possess a problem-solving mentality with a hands-on, cooperative attitude. You also strive to find answers to questions, not get deterred by them. You are energetic and take ownership of projects easily. Most importantly, we can trust you to look after our digital platforms. We're looking for someone who has:
- A strong affinity to website management and administrating collaboration tools, such as digital whiteboards and conferencing tools. BIG BONUS: You have worked extensively with KeyNote, WordPress, Miro, and Zoom;
- Has good knowledge of the Adobe Suite (required);
- 1-3 years of proven work experience as a website manager or similar roles;
- A minimum working, thinking, and experience level equal to a Bachelor's degree;
- Has an eye for design and detail and a continuous improvement mindset;
- Experience in navigating among different stakeholders and clients, and can collaborate with other creative disciplines;
- Has a can-do mentality;
- Above all, you're a lot of fun!
