About the job
Who are you?
An experienced digital designer (5+ years) who thinks and acts digitally. Our clients make an impact for the world of tomorrow; we are looking for someone who can visualize that well and convert it into digital (UX / UI) solutions. As a full-time digital designer you are specialized in creating progressive websites and online campaigns. You are an essential part of the creative team and enjoy thinking about how brand stories come to life online at an early stage. You understand better than anyone what goals a website, campaign or app can serve. Moreover, you know how to translate this into a strategic process with a clear beginning and end. You also enjoy taking a leading role in workshops and you want to develop yourself further doing so. And, last but not least, at Multitude we value everyone's unique (cultural) background, talent and contribution. Although your experience and expertise are important, we encourage digital designers of color or LGBTQ + to apply.
About you
As a digital designer at Multitude you get a lot of creative freedom and responsibility. You bring brand stories to life digitally, contribute to the development of our projects, and you know how to amaze your colleagues and clients with smart wireframes and user flows and to inspire you with surprising digital (design) solutions and interaction. You are also committed to user studies and giving workshops.
With us you learn to think creatively and strategically, and you get a lot of freedom to give substance to this in your own way. With us, you want Multitude to be the agency for changemakers, and contribute to this with your (digital) designs.
We’re looking for you!
The most important thing is that you want to work with us to create awesome visuals for Multitude and our clients. You feel passionate about our mission and you want to work in a creative environment.
- You have a creative mind and are able to generate ideas and concepts
- You’re experienced with leading design processes. You see the bigger picture and are able to guide others in this
- You feel responsible to optimize the user experience for the end user
- You can translate our cases and vision into designs that strike the right chord
- You are persuasive: you have the ability to convince us (internally) and others (externally) to follow your lead with new ideas, presentations and concepts, based on insights and facts
- You finished your HBO studies in the field of design or something relevant
- You have at least 5 years of experience as a (digital) designer
- You are highly skilled with design software (Adobe / Sketch)
- You enjoy working with programmers, illustrators, content makers and marketeers
- You are a good planner, you keep a tight schedule and stick to deadlines
- You have a basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript? Awesome!

Will you work with us?
Working for changemakers is the best there is, but so is working at Multitude! When you are at the office, you work around the corner from the Ten Kate market. Enjoy a delicious lunch in the sun!
- We inspire each other every month with the latest developments during internal Multiworks sessions (ask for them during your job interview!).
- Every three months we visit changemakers (virtually) about whom we want to know more. We take turns organizing these excursions, so think about where you want to take us (and get some inspiration here).
- When we are not in lockdown, we have lunch together with organic products from Marqt. And because we work next to the Ten Kate market, we also like to be surprised by what the market has in store. Hopefully, the famous mango hummus will make your heart beat faster!
- Our digital party-committee provides fun remote team outings (which we’ll resume IRL as soon as we can).
- We like to visit (digital) conferences, design festivals, type of tours and workshops to gain inspiration and to keep abreast of social developments.
