Leisure Expert Group is a professional and ambitious design company. We specialize in the leisure industry in the broadest sense of the word. We focus on the design and production of spaces and identities in the leisure, festival and event industry around the globe. You come across our work in theme parks, zoos, brand experiences, festivals and Halloween experiences. Leisure Expert Group is a well-known name for anyone who wants to immerse their guests in a different world.
About your role
About your role
You are part of our talented and versatile design team. You are able to visualize the dream of our clients into strong concepts and designs: think of illustrations, graphic designs, mood boards, visualizations of a masterplan and much more. The designs you work on are for stages, experiences and environments for festivals and theme parks. You love to explore new concepts and ideas to stay inspired. You challenge the status quo and introduce new and innovative ideas. As a senior you love to take on a leading role together with the Project Manager and supervise the designers in the team. But above all: you enjoy your work and inspire the people around you.
About you
What we ask
* You have at least 7 years of experience as a concept designer;
* You have a great sense of design and a mind filled with creative ideas;
* You are a diverse concept thinker and have a broad range of stylistic capabilities;
* You are able to develop and share a unique and progressive vision of design;
* You drive experiment and innovation in the work;
* Excellent presentation and communication skills;
* Design tools knowledge: Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign. 3D software and/or After Effects/Premiere are a plus;
* You think in solutions and you have a positive and flexible nature;
* You can motivate and support a team to go all the way, from initial brainstorm to a final design;
* Ability to take initiative and make things happen independently;
* Self-motivated to do great work and meet tight deadlines with attention to detail and an eye for quality and aesthetics;
* Affinity with the leisure industry and experience in this field is an advantage;
* Because we work internationally and our team consists of different nationalities, it is important that you have a good command of the English language.

You fulfill the position of designer for 40 hours a week. Our office, with a view of the elephants at Artis, is located in the heart of Amsterdam and is easily accessible by public transport.
