Associate Account Director

Nuturing and growing existing accounts in Europe and building new ones. Responsible for our Amsterdam team.

Studio XAG is looking for an Associate Account Director to grow our accounts in Europe; nurturing and growing existing relationships whilst obtaining and building new ones. They’ll be responsible for leading our local team, helping to achieve the show stopping storytelling we are famous for.

The Role
This role would be instrumental in growing our European headquarters in Amsterdam  through building and strengthening client relationships, alongside managing the smooth running of our Amsterdam studio.

You will have the opportunity to work with some of the world's best brands on a global scale.

Your responsibilities would include:

New Business & Client Growth
  • Be the first point of contact for all inbound new business situated in Europe
  • Nurture excellent relationships with clients and their wider teams
  • Client Development Plans - Identifying opportunities for growth within our existing client base
  • Obtaining and building new client relationships through outbound new business outreach and networking
  • Daily Account management

Operations
  • Managing the workflow of projects coming through the studio - working with our London HQ to schedule and allocate resources across all teams
  • Managing the day to day running of the studio to ensure that everyone has the tools they need to perform their roles to the best of their ability
  • Monthly & Quarterly Reporting 

People Management
  • Building, nurturing and developing your team
  • Managing the talent hiring process for Europe, identifying gaps in our team, defining purpose and targets for new roles and finding the best people for the job

About you

Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for a bold, fast and fearless Associate Account Director who has a hunger growing healthy profitable client relationships, building and managing brilliant teams & creating inspiring and beautiful work. 

The ideal candidate will:
  • Be a natural leader and brilliant people manager
  • Be an excellent networker, adept at building and maintaining new relationships
  • Be a great  communicator
  • Have excellent written and verbal English, preferably plus an additional European language 

Ideal Experience: 
  • 8+ years of relevant experience, preferably within experiential retail
  • 3+years of client liaison, account management or in-house client experience
  • People management

Location: 
We currently work a hybrid model 3 days a week from our Amsterdam studio and 2 optional WFH days. 

Our normal working hours are 9am - 6pm but flexible working hours and days are available.

Salary: €70-80 - Dependant on experience
