The Maaspodium wants to inspire as many young Rotterdammers as possible with what professional theater has to offer. The mentality and fringes of the city suit us well. Rotterdam is a super diverse, exciting and growing city where a lot is happening. We are inspired by the city and actively seek collaboration, stories and conversations.

The combination of production and programming in one house is unique within Dutch youth theater and offers opportunities for special own programs that ensure a large audience and interesting crossovers.

The Maaspodium has become a house where doors from different worlds open to each other. We not only show our own productions and makers, but also other groups, makers and initiatives. Our audience is young in the broadest sense of the word: from toddler to young adult and everyone who is young at heart in the multicolored city of Rotterdam.

Maaspodium has two beautiful theater halls, a catering area, a party room and an outside area.

Het Maaspodium wil zoveel mogelijk jonge Rotterdammers inspireren met wat professioneel theater te bieden heeft. De mentaliteit en de rafelranden van de stad passen goed bij ons. Rotterdam is een superdiverse, spannende en groeiende stad waar veel gebeurt. Wij laten ons inspireren door de stad en zoeken actief naar samenwerking, verhalen en gesprekken.

De combinatie van produceren en programmeren in één huis is binnen het Nederlands jeugdtheater uniek en biedt kansen voor bijzondere eigen programma’s die zorgen voor een groot publiek en interessante crossovers.

Het Maaspodium is een huis geworden waar deuren van verschillende werelden zich naar elkaar openen. We laten er niet alleen onze eigen producties en makers zien, maar ook andere groepen, makers en initiatieven. Ons publiek is jong in de breedste zin van het woord: van peuter tot jongvolwassene en iedereen die jong van geest is in de veelkleurige stad Rotterdam.

Het podium heeft twee mooie theaterzalen, een horecaplek, een feestruimte en een buitenterrein.
