Content Creation & Communications Trainee

Full-time paid traineeship starting in fall 2022 for 6 months. Located either in Brussels or Arnhem (hybrid remote work is possible).

About the job

Under the supervision of the Communications and Digital Managers, and in coordination with the team, the trainee will support the LREF’s work on various topics and fields:
 
  • Create content for social media (copy and visuals)
  • Create content for the other Foundation’s various channels (website, newsletters, publications etc.)
  • Propose new initiatives to engage audience, drive traffic to digital channels and websites 
  • Create content (Adobe Suite)
  • Create maps (QGIS)
  • Create engaging videos, reels and inspiring content
  • Influencer outreach management (research, contacts, implementation, etc.)
  • Design creative documents such as leaflets, brochures, presentations and proposals.
  • Design new merchandising in line with our projects’ values and identity.
  • Copywriting, proofreading and translation content in the native language of the trainee.
 
Depending on the trainee’s profile and competences, it will be possible to participate in other projects.
 

About you

We are looking for a Trainee with:
  • Demonstrated interest in the mission and DNA of the LRE Foundation.
  • A relevant education in Marketing, Communication, Graphic Design, CMD, Videography, Photography, or any field relevant to this traineeship description
  • Excellent command of creative software (Adobe suite, Microsoft office)
  • Excellent command of English. Knowledge of French, Dutch, German, Italian, Polish or Czech is an advantage
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with map creation software (GIS) is desirable (QGIS)
  • Creative and online oriented
  • Proactive, team player and good interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter and autonomous in approaching work
  • Able to respect deadlines and tight timing with critical attention to detail
