Butterfly Works is a co-creation studio based in Amsterdam. Through our creative and entrepeneurial branding and learning projects in developing countries we aim to decrease global poverty and increase equality. All our projects start with a clearly defined social need and harness local knowledge, creativity and expertise to achieve effective and lasting solutions. 

Butterfly Works was founded in 2003 by Ineke Aquarius, Emer Beamer and Hester Ezra and now works with a core team of 15 designers and producers and countless co-creators across 22 countries. We are grateful to have received international awards in recognition of our work and are supported by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, often working in partnership with Oxfam Novib.
